GROWING UP AND MOVING ON
I was born in Somerset, Kentucky, and grew up in Monticello, Kentucky. I attended public school, graduating from Monticello High School in 2009. I received my undergraduate degree in political science from Eastern Kentucky University. From there, I graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Law.
I graduated law school and was admitted to the Bar Association in 2016. I knew immediately that I wanted to come back home to start my career. I began my law practice as an associate attorney at a firm in Monticello. In December, 2017, I co-founded my law firm, Garmon & Ramsey, PLLC, in Monticello. I fight for my clients every day, and I'm ready to do the same for the people of our district in Frankfort.
I married my sweetheart, Charity, in 2016. We bought our first home together in Monticello, and we still make Monticello our home. Charity is a nurse at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, and she is active in organizations such as the Monticello Chamber of Commerce and the Monticello Woman's Club. We are members of First Christian Church in Monticello.
WHY AM I RUNNING?
It's Time For A Change!
I'm running for one simple reason: It is time for a change in Frankfort.
I see our communities struggling, and I don't see any help coming from the Frankfort establishment. We are from a beautiful area with incredible resources and brilliant people, but we aren't living up to our full potential. We must work together to create opportunities so future generations will be able to thrive in this beautiful area we are blessed to call home.
I am 100% pro-life and pro-2nd Amendment. I will always stand up for what I believe is right, and I will always stand up for our home and our people. It is time to make your voice heard and bring a change to Frankfort and the 52nd District.
